Youth from throughout the city participated in the Summer Arts Academy in Indianapolis.
From June 18 through July 23, 2011 My City, My World teamed with the Urban Arts of Indianapolis Summer Arts Academy. With funding from Lilly Endowment, Inc., Urban Arts was able to upgrade the technology
components of their programs by purchasing laptop computers, digital
cameras and printers. This provided the needed infrastructure for the My City, My World Programs to develop a series of new media workshops for Indianapolis youth. UAI

connecting them with their peers in other countries starting with the My City, My World networks in Cuba and

similarities through internet interaction with youth of other
cultures.

Urban Arts of Indianapolis is a not for profit community arts program that has provided opportunities for youth, ages 5 - 18 to explore, experience and develop skills in visual arts, dance and music since 1996.
